What inspired you to start your business?
I love beauty and fashion, and I believe in the healing power of CBD. I also saw firsthand how expensive starting a business could be when I worked at a beauty shop. I realized that working online could cut out so many of those costs while still letting me connect with others. Being a social media model and affiliate lets me do everything I love all at once.
What was a major challenge you had to overcome in getting to where you are today?
Figuring out how to get followers. Figuring out makeup and posing. Finding great photographers to work with. Those were all pretty significant challenges. But starting a business was something else entirely, because there’s no set method to do it. Most of it really is trial and error. Taking care of my customers is huge for me, so I had to make sure I was doing a good job.
What’s the biggest mistake you’ve made professionally?
I wish I had had the confidence to get started earlier. But I’m so glad I started when I did, and I’m glad to be where I am now!
