2023 will see Toyota at the top of the list of the most popular auto brands worldwide. After 14 years, the Japanese automaker is still at the top of the automobile industry.

1. Toyota

In 2023, Toyota sold 9.07 million cars, 4.1 percent more than the year before. The All New Agya GR Sport, All New Corolla Cross GR Sport HEV, New Hilux Box, New Yaris GR Sport, All New Yaris Cross, and RAV4 GR Sport PHEV were among the several models that were introduced in the previous year.

2. The Volkswagen brand

Volkswagen is the market leader in the world, selling 5.1 million vehicles, a 7% increase from 2022. It is in second position.

3. Honda

According to reports, Honda will be able to sell 3.9 million vehicles in 2023, a 3.7% increase over the previous year.

4. Hyundai

Hyundai came in fourth place with 3.8 million cars released globally last year, up 5.5 percent from the year before.

5. Ford

7. Chevrolet

10. Mercedes-Benz

Mercedes-Benz is among the top auto brands globally in terms of sales in 2023, with 2.2 million units sold, an increase of 0.6%.

The German premium automobile maker managed to overtake BMW in the upper class. BMW, meantime, has sold 2.2 million cars and is ranked eleventh.
