On the second day of his visit to the election-bound state of Gujarat, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch Mission LIFE there as well as a number of other development initiatives.

In his speech at the Mission Schools of Excellence’s opening in Gandhinagar, Gujarat, Prime Minister Modi hailed 5G, the next-generation network connectivity capabilities. He also discussed all the advantages that 5G will offer, including a total transformation of the educational landscape.
“Recently, the country’s mobile and Internet services ushered in the fifth generation (5G) era. Up till now, we had used 4G Internet services. Now, 5G is about to bring about a significant transformation, the prime minister remarked in his speech.
He continued by saying that 5G will advance education to the “next level,” going beyond the current framework of smart classrooms and smart teaching. PM Modi also alluded to next-generation technologies like virtual reality (VR) and the Internet of Things, which 5G will help spread throughout industries and among the general public (IoT). He asserted that 5G will enable schools to take advantage of VR and IoT.
Residents of Rajkot had earlier on Tuesday expressed their joy at Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s arrival, as the latter had a unique link to the city. After becoming Gujarat’s new chief minister in 2002, Modi ran in his first election in a Rajkot by-election.
The villagers thanked their “vadapradhan” (prime minister) for developing the Rajkot Greenfield International Airport in 2022 and the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in 2020.
