Effectiveness and output
There are two engine options available for the gas-powered Blazer: a base 2.0-liter engine that produces 228 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque and can go up to 29 mpg on the interstate. For extra oomph in your step, go for the 3.6-liter V6 engine that offers up to 308 horsepower and 270 lb-ft of torque. On the interstate, fuel economy drops to 27 mpg.
The Blazer EV has a lot more horsepower than its counterpart that runs on petrol. With Wide Open Watts mode on, the top-of-the-line Blazer EV Super Sport model has a maximum power output of 557 horsepower and 648 lb-ft of torque. When this mode is engaged, your Blazer EV can accelerate from 0 to 60 miles per hour in less than 4 seconds. The Blazer gets up to 88 MPGe on the interstate and 103 MPGe in the city in terms of efficiency.
Style
The traditional Blazer model is renowned for having style cues from the Camaro. Its sculptural front end, self-assured stance, and thin headlights are its standout features.
Because it is based on the Ultium Platform, the 2024 Chevrolet Blazer EV has more design options than variants with internal combustion engines. Because of this, the Blazer EV boasts more daring body lines and a sleeker profile than its combustion engine cousin. For a bold 22-inch set of wheels, a grade-exclusive grille, and a striking black roof, opt for the top-of-the-line Super Sport trim.
inside
When it comes to cargo capacity and seats, the two Blazer versions are essentially comparable. Both have five seats, although there is slightly more room for cargo in the gas-powered Blazer. The standard model has 64.2 cubic feet of storage space, whereas the EV delivers up to 59.2 cubic feet.
The two cars’ styles and levels of luxury also vary. The standard features of the traditional Blazer include heated front seats, as well as creature amenities like a heated steering wheel and rear outboard seats. For additional available amenities like heated/ventilated front seats, heated rear seats, and an abundance of fashionable interior trim choices, go for the EV. The SS trim has Argon Orange highlights and Adrenaline Red upholstery, while the RS model has red and blue contrast stitching.
Technology
A 10.2-inch touch-screen infotainment system, a 4.2-inch Drive Information Centre, and wireless smartphone connectivity are included on every trim level of the standard Blazer. Higher trim levels can feature an 8-inch Driver Information Centre, wireless phone charging, and integrated GPS navigation.
The beautiful 17.7-inch touch-screen infotainment system and 11-inch touch-screen Driver Information Centre are features of the Blazer EV. It is capable of wireless smartphone connectivity, same like its gas-powered predecessor. It does, however, have EV-only MyChevy app route planning features, which are intended to assist you in locating EV charging stations along the way.
