Tata Motors Getting Ready To Introduce Three New Cars In 2024

Following a prosperous year in 2023, Tata Motors is preparing to launch three new models in the Indian market in 2024.

The automaker intends to introduce the Curvv, its first new vehicle in three years, as well as add a sportier grade to the Altroz lineup and increase the number of Nexon models available with CNG power.

Tata Motors is taking a bold step forward with these launches as it keeps innovating and broadening its product line.

Nexon iCNG: Industry’s first turbocharged CNG car

Presented at this year’s Bharat Mobility Expo, the Nexon iCNG will be the first factory-built, turbocharged CNG-powered vehicle in the industry.

It will have the same three-cylinder, 1.2-liter turbocharged engine as the petrol version.

Although an AMT option is anticipated, the manual gearbox will be the default.

It is anticipated that the Nexon iCNG will cost approximately 1 lakh more than its petrol counterpart.

Altroz Racer will compete with Hyundai’s i20 N Line

Tata is getting ready to introduce the Altroz Racer, a more aggressive version of the Altroz that will go up against Hyundai’s i20 N Line.

The Racer will have a 6-speed manual gearbox and a 1.2-liter turbo-petrol engine, but it will have 10 horsepower more than the Altroz iTurbo.

‘Racer’ emblems, a modified grille, and dual racing stripes on the bonnet and roof are distinguishing characteristics.

The vehicle will have cutting-edge amenities like ventilated front seats, a first for the class, and a 10.25-inch touchscreen.

Tata Motors to unveil Curvv midsize SUV

The much-awaited Curvv midsize SUV from Tata Motors will go on sale this year during the holiday season.

The Gen 2 Acti.ev platform from Tata will power the EV version of the Curvv, which has a range of about 450–500 km.

It is anticipated that the petrol and diesel versions would go into production in September and go on sale in the last quarter of 2024 or the first quarter of 2025.

A 1.2-liter, three-cylinder turbocharged engine with 125 horsepower will power the petrol trim, while the diesel version will likely use the same 1.5-liter, four-cylinder diesel engine seen in the Nexon.
