The Force Gurkha 3-door and the recently introduced Gurkha 5-door are now being delivered. The 5-door version is available for Rs 18 lakh (introductory, ex-showroom pan-India), while the 3-door variant costs Rs 16.75 lakh. With the exception of the 5-door model’s two more doors and longer wheelbase, both have comparable characteristics.
Exterior
With features like circular LED headlights with LED DRLs, a snorkel installed by the business, 18-inch alloy wheels, LED tail lights, a working ladder to access the roof rack and a spare wheel mounted on the tailboard, the Gurkha has a boxy appearance.

Both versions have features such a digital driver’s display, manual air conditioning, and a 9-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The Gurkha 3-door model only has front power windows, whilst the Gurkha 5-door has all four power windows.
Both SUVs have dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, and a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS) for further safety.

Rivals
In addition to competing with the impending Mahindra Thar 5-door, the Force Gurkha 5-door is a more substantial alternative to the Maruti Jimny. On the other side, the standard Mahindra Thar is challenged by the Force Gurkha 3-door. If you’re searching for a monocoque SUV, though, you might want to have a look at some comparably priced compact SUVs like the Citroen C3 Aircross, Hyundai Creta, MG Astor, Kia Seltos, Volkswagen Taigun, Maruti Grand Vitara, and Skoda Kushaq. It will also function as an off-road substitute for the Citroen Basalt SUV-coupe and Tata Curvv SUV-coupe.
