As to a leaked brochure, Tata Motors is getting ready to launch the Altroz Racer version in India on June 7. Unofficial reservations are now accepted.
This more aggressive model is meant to compete with rivals like the Maruti Suzuki Baleno, Toyota Glanza, and Hyundai i20 N Line.
The new model will have a dual-tone orange and black paint job with racing influences.
Aesthetic details and color options
The hood and roof of the Altroz Racer version will have white racing stripes, while the grille, bumpers, A, B, and C pillars, as well as the alloy wheels, will all be finished in black.
The C-pillar will have a special mounting location for the rear door handle.
Avenue White, Atomic Orange, and Pure Grey are the three colour options that will be offered for this model.
A look at the interiors
Orange accents on the centre console and AC vents will carry the orange-black colour scheme inside the Altroz Racer.
The seats will have orange and white racing stripes, and the footwell lighting will have a similar glow.
The front armrest, seats, and leather-wrapped steering wheel all have contrast colour stitching, which will add to the overall ambience of the vehicle.
Advanced features and safety measures
A 10.25-inch floating touchscreen infotainment display, acquired from Nexon, will be installed in the Altroz Racer.
In addition, it will have a voice-activated sunroof, ventilated front seats, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, and a digital instrument dashboard.
It will have six airbags, a 360-degree surround-view camera, electronic stability control, parking sensors, and hill hold assistance for further safety.
Variant-wise facilities of the car
Three versions of the new Tata Altroz Racer—the R1, R2, and R3—each with a unique set of features—will be offered.
Features including 16-inch alloy wheels, six airbags, leatherette upholstery, and a Harman floating infotainment system will be available on the lowest model R1.
A 360-degree surround view system (SVS), a wireless charger, and an electric sunroof with voice activation are all new features for the R2 model.
The R3 will come equipped with an air purifier, front ventilated seats for the driver and co-driver, and iRA-connected automobile technology.
