Interviewer: Olesya, thank you for taking the time to speak with us today. Can you tell us more about your experience representing Switzerland at the Mrs. World 2022 pageant held in Las Vegas?
Olesya: It was an unforgettable experience and a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. I felt honored to represent my country and be part of such a diverse and welcoming family of 57 delegates. We all had a sense of sisterhood and it was truly a special experience. The pageant week left a lasting impact on my soul and I will never forget it.
Interviewer: In addition to your victories at the Ms. Europe Continental Switzerland 2022 and Mrs. Switzerland 2022 pageants, you had the chance to participate in the Mrs. World 2022 pageant. Can you tell us more about that event and your experience there?
Olesya: The Mrs. World pageant is a celebration of womanhood and provides a platform for married women to express their passion for fashion and modeling. It was a new experience for me and I am grateful for the opportunity. It was amazing to be able to showcase my love of fashion on a global stage and be part of such a positive and empowering event.
Interviewer: Do you have any particularly memorable moments from the pageant week that you would like to share?
Olesya: Definitely. One of the most memorable moments was a dinner held at the Elvis Presley suite at the Westgate hotel. The suite still holds the mesmerizing energy of Presley’s talent and I could hardly believe I spent hours on the same stage where he used to perform. It was a truly once-in-a-lifetime experience for me.
Interviewer: Olesya, you have a successful career as a businesswoman and you’re also a homemaker, how did you venture into this field?
Olesya: I started my modeling career at the young age of 15 and quickly gained local fame. Fashion has always been a passion of mine and I am grateful for the opportunities it has brought me. Now, I want to use my platform to promote sustainable and women-led fashion labels and feel it is my duty to use my influence for good and support important causes.
Interviewer: Can you tell us more about that experience and how it has impacted you?
Olesya: The pageant week at Mrs. World gave me a completely new perspective on beauty pageantry. It was my first experience on such a global scale and I learned so much from it. I learned that to show up and enjoy is so much more important than winning a competition and this feeling was shared by every participant, they did not have a competitive spirit but rather, a collaborative attitude. I have consistently made my community and country proud and will continue to do so.
