The unlocked OnePlus Open Folding Smartwatch is currently available for $1,499.99 shipped from Amazon. The price of this 512GB smartphone has dropped from its usual going rate of $1,700, so there is no need to trade it in. Savings of $200 are involved, and this is one of the first opportunities to save to date. The current deal matches the lowest price we’ve ever seen, which was initially offered when the new release first went on sale. However, Best Buy will take an additional $100 off the price if you want to activate it with a carrier today, bringing the total down to $1,399.99. If not, the retailer is merely matching Amazon’s pricing.
The first foldable smartphone from the company is the new OnePlus Open. A 7.82-inch panel on the inside of the display unfolds like a book, while an outside 6.31-inch screen balances out the larger panel. With a weight of only 239 grams, the new smartphone boasts a lighter weight than almost every other foldable device available. The company and Hasselblad continue their customary partnership, with the latter providing a 48MP rear camera array. A Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip powers all of that after that.
We’re also monitoring a clearance sale on a smaller, foldable smartphone over at Amazon. The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 can now be purchased on Amazon for a new all-time low of $535. Amazon started clearing out the device earlier in the month. Just a few months ago, you would have paid $1,000 for the smart flip phone from last year. Right now, it’s at its lowest price ever, almost 50% off. Even though it lacks the OnePlus Open’s enormous internal display, you can still get your first foldable device for a much lower price and take advantage of the previously mentioned record-breaking deal on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 hardware.
