Paul McCartney has collaborated with Rick Rubin for documentary series on Hulu.
McCartney 3, 2, 1 will investigate McCartney’s melodic history as a previous Beatle, in an uncommon one-on-one meeting with Rubin.
The six-scene arrangement will traverse McCartney’s work with The Beatles and Wings just as his 50 or more years as an independent craftsman. It is set to make a big appearance on Hulu on July 16.
“At no other time have fans had the chance to hear Paul McCartney share, in such sweeping, celebratory detail, the experience of making his labor of love – over 50 years of culture-characterizing music,” said Craig Erwich, president, Hulu Originals and ABC Entertainment, in a proclamation got by Deadline.
He proceeded: “To be an onlooker as Paul and Rick Rubin deconstruct how probably the greatest hits in music history came to be is genuinely edifying. It is an honor that Paul decided to get back to Hulu to share this stand-out arrangement.”
McCartney 3, 2, 1 was coordinated by Zachary Heinzerling, while both McCartney and Rubin are among the chief makers on the venture.
McCartney delivered his latest independent collection McCartney III last December, and delivered an adjusting of it close by a variety of teammates a month ago, as McCartney III: Imagined.
