Cell phone maker Garmin has marked another 12-year rent that will migrate its Triangle-based office, and the new area will be 63,213 square feet of office space at Regency Creek in the Regency Office Park in Cary.
Garmin sells wearable gadgets, for example, smarthwatches and route gadgets for vehicles.
The organization hopes to move in to the new office in April 2022, as per an assertion from Spectrum Companies, the business land firm associated with the arrangement, which was imparted to WRAL TechWire.
Garmin will bring all of its Triangle workers into the structure, and will fill in as the office’s anchor inhabitant, involving the whole third and fourth floor and part of the principal floor.
Garmin had 35 representatives situated in the Triangle in 2010, and presently has more than 150, the explanation noted.
The organization, which is settled in Kansas, expects further development in the Triangle, as per Garmin and Spectrum Companies.
“This collaborative project with Spectrum Companies was made possible by our decade-long relationship with the Town of Cary, the Cary Chamber of Commerce, and the valued contributions of our company’s associates. Its completion will position Garmin for growth well into the future,” said Chris Koszarsky, head of designing for Garmin’s Cary office.
