Mercedes-Benz has debuted the 2024 C-Class, which has a new drivetrain and a plethora of new features, while the new GLC has some minor feature upgrades.
2024 C-Class
Three different engine options are now available for the 2024 Mercedes-Benz C-Class: the C 200 petrol, the C 220d diesel and the top-of-the-line C 300 AMG Line petrol.
The top-of-the-line C 300 model, which succeeds the C 300d, is equipped with the aggressive AMG Line exterior, which features uniquely designed wheels, bumpers, grille and side skirts to give the vehicle a more aggressive and sporting appearance. The car’s interior also receives the AMG Line treatment; it has a Burmester sound system, augmented reality navigation, blind spot assistance, Ambient Lighting Plus, a Night Package and more. Mercedes’ Keyless-go and Digital Lighting systems are also included.
It is different from the new C 200 and C 220d thanks to these features. New hues for the C 300 are also available, including the ultra-cool Manufaktur Patagonia Red and Sodalite Blue. The centre console now has USB fast-charging outlets and a metal accent, as part of the revised interiors.
With the aid of a 48-volt mild hybrid system, the M254 petrol engine in the C 300 is equipped with an integrated starter generator (ISG) that may provide an extra 23 horsepower and 205 Nm of torque to the combustion engine. Additionally, the C 300 has the overboost feature, which allows the engine to produce an extra 27 horsepower for about 30 seconds.
The C 200 and C 220d now include digital key handover, fast-charging USB-C connections, ventilated front seats, and adaptive high beam assist. In place of Cavansite Blue, the colour Sodalite Blue is added to the palette.
2024 GLC
The front seats of the redesigned GLC are now ventilated. With side airbags added to the back, the GLC now has nine airbags overall, substantially enhancing safety.
