Mercedes-AMG S 63 e-Performance, C 63 S e-Performance
These two AMGs, which were initially unveiled in late 2022, are based on their respective latest-generation counterparts and boast hybrid systems with technology derived from Formula 1. With a 204hp electric motor that is fueled by a 6.1kWh battery and a 476hp, 2.0-liter turbo-petrol engine, the C 63 S e-Performance boasts a system output of 680hp and 1,020Nm of torque.
In the meantime, the S 63 e-Performance receives an upgraded version of its 4.0-liter V8 petrol twin-turbo engine in addition to an asynchronous electric motor positioned on the back axle that is driven by a 13.1kWh lithium-ion battery. An incredible 802 horsepower and 1,430 Nm of torque are produced together.
AMG-specific design cues, both inside and outside, aerodynamic modifications, and infotainment settings are also included for both versions. Both also include the 4Matic+ AWD system and a 9-speed automatic gearbox.
Before June 2024, Mercedes plans to introduce two more models to the TEV (cars above Rs 1.5 crore) sector.
All-new E-Class, EVs incoming
The debut of the brand-new E-Class is scheduled for before the year ends, according to Santosh Iyer, MD and CEO of Mercedes-Benz India, who made this announcement during the press conference. “The new E-Class LWB will only be available by the end of this year,” he continued. Therefore, there might not be an E-Class in our area for a while.”
Additionally, the company intends to introduce three new EVs this year, the Maybach EQS being one of them.
