In India, Mercedes-Benz has unveiled the new C 300 AMG Line.
At ₹69 lakh (ex-showroom), this model is now the most expensive vehicle in the C-Class range.
New features for the GLC SUV and the C-Class range are also included in the introduction.
According to Santosh Iyer, CEO and MD of Mercedes-Benz India, the demand for luxury sedans has shifted from diesel to petrol, with approximately 70% of sedan sales being petrol variants. This change in demand had an impact on the decision.
Power and performance
A 2.0-liter, four-cylinder, turbo-petrol engine with 258 horsepower and 400 Nm powers the C 300.
In addition to an overboost function that provides an additional 27 horsepower for roughly 30 seconds, an integrated starter generator (ISG) adds an additional output of 22 horsepower and 205 Nm.
With a top speed of 250 km/h, the automobile can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just six seconds thanks to the engine and nine-speed automated transmission combination.
C 300 AMG Line: Design and exclusive features
The top-of-the-line C-Class vehicle, the C 300, has an AMG Line option that includes various inside features exclusive to AMG as well as sharper front and rear bumpers.
The standard ‘Night Package’ gives the interior a stylish, darkened-out appearance.
Manufacturer colour options for the automobile include Patagonia Red and Sodalite Blue.
Digital lights, augmented reality navigation, blind-spot assistance, Burmester 3D surround sound system, and a keyless-go comfort package are among the exclusive features.
