Kawasaki is getting ready to introduce its 2025 Ninja 650 model to the Indian market in time for the approaching holidays.
Due to lower than anticipated sales of the current model, it was decided to debut the new bike earlier than anticipated.
The business has only made aesthetic changes to the most recent Ninja 650, which will come in two new colour options.
Aesthetic updates and new KRT Edition
Candy Steel Furnace Orange/Metallic Spark Black/Metallic Royal Purple and Metallic Matte Old School Green/Metallic Spark Black are the colour options for the 2025 Ninja 650.
Kawasaki is also releasing a KRT Edition, which has the livery and graphics of the Kawasaki Racing Team, in addition to the ordinary model.
The Ninja 650’s power specs are the same as they were in the previous iteration.
Unchanged power specifications
The 649cc parallel-twin engine that powers the Kawasaki Ninja 650 still generates 67.3 horsepower at 8,000 rpm and a maximum torque of 65.76 Nm at 6,700 rpm.
A six-speed gearbox with a slipper clutch and assist is coupled to the motor.
The motorcycle also has smartphone connectivity, LED illumination, and a 4.3-inch TFT colour instrument cluster.
Three riding modes, traction control, and dual-channel ABS are included as standard safety measures.
Expected price increase for new model
The Ninja 650’s price is probably going to go up after the new model is released.
Expected to retail for approximately ₹7.35 lakh (both prices, ex-showroom), the new model is anticipated to carry a little higher price tag than its existing predecessor, which is currently priced at ₹7.16 lakh.
