In Germany, Suzuki Motor Corporation, a major player in the Japanese auto industry, presented the fourth-generation Maruti Suzuki Swift. The identical model, which launched in the UK and Japanese markets, has been introduced by the company. It is highly probable that the new Swift would be unveiled by the company in India by March or April of this year. Both the exterior and interior of the latest Swift generation have been totally changed. It will also have a completely new Z-Series engine. According to certain sources, the company may also introduce the Swift outfitted with a hybrid system in India.
Germany saw the release of the Suzuki Swift
In the German market, Suzuki will only have one powertrain option for the 2017 Swift, and that one will be a mild hybrid setup. The new Z-Series 1.2-liter three-cylinder petrol engine will be available in the new Swift. It is paired with a 12V mild hybrid system and has a maximum power output of 83 horsepower. The new fourth-generation Swift will also be available from the manufacturer with both a manual and CVT automatic powertrain. The German Swift with All-grip AWD will also be available from the manufacturer.
2024 Suzuki Swift: Details of the exterior design
For its fourth generation, the all-new Swift has received a comprehensive external overhaul. The automobile will have a completely new front fascia that is much sleeker and more contemporary-looking. It will have a redesigned grille with broad black borders that looks forceful but elegant. Additionally sleeker, the LED headlights now include integrated L-shaped LED DRLs. The newly styled fog lights will be housed in the modified lower bumper, which also sports a brand-new bonnet.
Regarding the side profile, the vehicle will be fitted with a new set of 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels in the style of a turbine. The more conventional door handles installed on the rear doors have replaced the company’s previous rear hidden door handles. A robust shoulder line that extends from the front of the automobile to the back will be there in addition to this. In relation to the back, the vehicle will also have a redesigned back that includes new LED taillights and a new rear bumper. The vehicle will be offered in two-tone paint jobs.
Details of the 2024 Suzuki Swift’s interior design
In addition to the exterior’s redesign, the interior will have a completely new arrangement. The interior of the new Swift will appear considerably more luxurious this time around and is reportedly modelled after the Grand Vitara, Baleno, and Fronx. The new 9-inch touchscreen infotainment panel in the centre will be the main attraction, and the sleek-looking rectangular AC vents beneath it will be the key feature. The car will also have the same automatic temperature control buttons as its brothers, and it will have a more contemporary appearance thanks to the dual-toned dashboard that is completed in layers. The front seats of the 2024 Suzuki Swift will also be updated with a more aggressive design. The CD changer that is present in the Japanese model is absent from the German specification Swift.
