General Motors has recently introduced the 2024 Chevy Cheyenne ZR2 Bison in Mexico, over a year and a half after the Chevy Silverado ZR2 Bison had its formal premiere in the United States.
With the most avant-garde iteration of the popular full-size truck, Chevrolet’s wide pickup lineup in Latin America was expanded with the official presentation of the new 2024 Chevy Cheyenne ZR2 Bison by GM Mexico. As a result, the 2024 Cheyenne ZR2 Bison, created in association with American Expedition Vehicles (AEV), is now the most advanced model of the Cheyenne brand and is only available in Mexico.
In its class, the Chevrolet Cheyenne is one of the most recognisable pickups. Adventure-seeking customers may now enjoy additional off-road capabilities thanks to this version’s special tuning, according to Ángel Pacheco, Chevrolet Marketing Manager at GM Mexico. “We are confident that off-road enthusiasts will adore it, as ZR2 Bison will strive to overcome obstacles in the most demanding terrain with the assistance of AEV, a brand well known for designing exclusive all-terrain products,” he continued.
The new 2024 Chevy Cheyenne ZR2 Bison, which is based on the current ZR2 trim level, further enhances the pickup’s off-road capabilities by adding unique features like electronic front and rear differential lockers, a high-performance suspension with Multimatic DSSV shock absorbers, and a terrain driving mode with one pedal for rock crawling.
AEV-designed components and accessories are also added to the 2024 Chevy Cheyenne ZR2 Bison, including side steps, new wheel designs, distinctive matte black bumpers that enhance approach and departure angles, and AEV badging on the outside, on the headrests of the seats, and on the floor mats. The 6.2L V8 L87 engine, which produces 425 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque, is connected to a 10-speed automatic gearbox made by GM and powers the Cheyenne ZR2 Bison.
The official Chevrolet dealer network will begin offering the new 2024 Chevy Cheyenne ZR2 Bison for sale in Mexico in the middle of this month. The GM Silao plant produces the 2024 Cheyenne ZR2 Bison pickups for the Mexican market, just like it does for other markets. These trucks are also exported. At the current exchange rate, its initial price of 1,793,900 pesos is equivalent to roughly $102,750 USD.
