Early in the following month, the Tata Altroz Racer will be introduced in India. It will have a 1.2L turbocharged petrol engine that generates 120 PS and 170 Nm.
With the performance-focused Altroz Racer scheduled to debut in India early next month, Tata Motors will shortly expand the lineup of the Altroz luxury hatchback. It made its debut at the Auto Expo last year and was shown in concept form during the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2024 in New Delhi in February.
Customers have given the Altroz excellent praise, and it immediately competes with well-known vehicles like the Maruti Suzuki Baleno, Hyundai i20, and Toyota Glanza. It stands out for being the first model constructed on the ALFA (Agile Light Flexible Advanced) platform and has an outstanding five-star Global NCAP safety certification.
With a race car-inspired look, the production edition of the Tata Altroz Racer is very similar to the conceptual form that was exhibited at auto shows. Notable exterior characteristics include a black base paint that produces an eye-catching dual-tone look, and a vivid orange paint scheme that is accentuated by white racing stripes on the hood and roof.
With its two white racing stripes, the Tata Altroz Racer looks ready, and its granite black interior motif is enhanced with bright orange accents that add to the car’s overall sporting appeal. The 1.2L turbo three-cylinder petrol engine powering the Altroz Racer can produce up to 120 PS of maximum power at 5,500 rpm and 170 Nm of peak torque between 1,750 and 4,000 rpm.
A heads-up display, a 360-degree camera unit, a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment display with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto interface, a seven-inch TFT instrumentation, a voice-activated electric sunroof with a shark fin antenna, ventilated front seats, and a wireless smartphone charging station are just a few of the cutting-edge features and equipment that it will be equipped with.
The 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, projector LED headlights, LED daytime running lights, rear air conditioning vents, and unique Racer badging are some of the other characteristics. Leatherette seats with red and white racing stripes are another. With a wheelbase of 2,501 mm, the Tata Altroz Racer has dimensions of 3,990 mm in length, 1,755 mm in width, and 1,523 mm in height. It will confront the Hyundai i20 N Line head-on.
