The City of Tampa has divulged its arrangements for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Super Bowl march.
The Bucs, Hillsborough County and the City of Tampa have collaborated to have a socially far off boat march alongside Hillsborough River.
The city declared that a boat march will occur at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 10 along the Tampa Riverwalk.
The motorcade is in festival of the Bucs’ 31-9 success over the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LV at Raymond James Stadium Sunday.
Fans are welcome to “Raise the Flags” and join the festival spreading over the Tampa Riverwalk and other review zones that offer sufficient space for social separating.
“As a reminder, masks are required outdoors in all Event Zones and Entertainment Districts, including downtown and along the Tampa Riverwalk,” they said.
Boaters can be in the water during the motorcade, in any case, they can’t partake in the procession. Boaters are needed to remain 50 feet from the authority vessels in the procession
The Lightning celebrated with a boat march in the wake of winning the Stanley Cup in September and their Twitter account suggested the Bucs do likewise.
All the more Super Bowl inclusion
Civic chairman Jane Castor communicated dissatisfaction for certain recordings seen around Super Bowl days of enormous groups for certain not wearing covers, and she is encouraging procession participants to wear their covers.
Dr. Jay Wolfson said a year ago’s Lightning march brought about an uptick of Covid cases locally.
A great many fans pressed together along the waterfront to watch the boat march.
“Wearing the masks will make a difference,” said Wolfson. “We suggest people bring sanitizing lotion with them because they’re going to be touching the railings, touching some other things and they want to make sure that they don’t pick up any coughing or sneezing.”
The accompanying stopping alternatives are suggested for fans going to the motorcade:
- Poe Garage and Tampa Convention Center Garage – Event level charge pace of $10
- Fortress Brooke Garage and Pam Iorio Garage – $2 each hour
- Palm Garage in Ybor – $1 each hour (guests can get the free TECO Streetcar to Downtown)
- Surface parts – $1 each hour
