With ConsoleVault’s new in-car safe, anyone wishing to transport valuables in their Chevy Colorado or GMC Canyon pickup truck can do so with safety. You can quickly install the ConsoleVault safe in the centre console, giving you a safe place to store any items you might need to bring with you. For third-generation Chevy Colorado and GMC Canyon pickups built between the 2023 and 2024 model years, the redesigned ConsoleVault is available.
A variety of locking mechanisms and lock types are available for the new ConsoleVault in-vehicle safe, including a key lock, a three-digit lock, a four-digit lock, and the company’s Elite four-digit lock. The safe has several tamper-proof features and is constructed from heavy-gauge plate steel. The Triple Guard Locking System aids in preventing prying, and the rolled plate steel has welded tabs and notch seams.
The device fits inside the OEM centre console without obstructing any USB connections or 12-volt outlets, and it can be installed at home in ten to fifteen minutes. An additional feature of the safe door is a spring-assisted opening system. The safe’s measurements are as follows: the inside is 6.93 inches long, 7.4 inches wide, and 7.49 inches tall, with a 4.08 by 5.08 inch lid opening.
For 2023 and 2024 model-year Chevy Colorado and GMC Canyon trucks, the new ConsoleVault in-car safe will retail for $299 for barrel key lock and three-digit combination lock types, $334 for a four-digit combination lock type, and $348 for the Elite four-digit lock type.
Recall that the 2023 GMC Canyon and 2023 Chevy Colorado represent the arrival of an entirely new third generation for both midsize pickup names. Highlights include the newly branded Turbomax high-output tune, which produces 310 horsepower and 430 pound-feet of torque, and the turbocharged 2.7L I4 L2R and turbocharged 2.7L I4 L3B gasoline engine options. Second-generation GM eight-speed automatic gearbox is used to route output, and the revised GM 31XX-2 platform serves as the foundation. The GM facility located in Wentzville, Missouri, is the site of production.
