Facelift for Mahindra XUV 300
The Mahindra XUV 300 facelift is the first vehicle on the list.The business has stopped accepting reservations for the SUV, which suggests that the launch is about to happen. On Indian highways, the SUV was recently seen undergoing testing. It’s difficult to discern anything about the detected vehicle’s new design because of its heavy covering. However, its erect silhouette resembles that of the current model.
It is anticipated that the front fascia of the XUV 300 will be updated with new bumpers and a grille. Additionally, it will get split LED headlights with DRLs and a new tailboard design with LED taillights and a reworked bumper on the back. There won’t be many side alterations other than the addition of newly designed 16-inch dual-tone alloy wheels.
The engine lineup for the XUV 300 will stay the same mechanically, with options including a 1.5-liter turbodiesel with 115 horsepower and 300 Nm, a 1.2-liter turbocharged petrol with 110 horsepower, and a Turbosport version with 130 horsepower and 230 Nm. Options for the gearbox will be an AMT automatic or a 6-speed manual.
Toyota Taisor
A Toyota Taisor is the second vehicle on the list. The Maruti Suzuki Fronx will effectively be rebranded as the Toyota Taisor. The Taisor will be the fourth Maruti vehicle in India to receive a new TKM badge. With the exception of the ubiquitous Toyota insignia, the Taisor will have the same design as the Fronx. Along with freshly designed alloy wheels, a revised front bumper is also anticipated.
The Taisor will likewise receive the same feature set and dashboard style. In terms of the drivetrain, a 1.0-liter turbocharged and a 1.2-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine are anticipated to be available for the Taisor. There are two types of gearbox options: AMT automatic and manual.
Toyota Innova Hycross (updated model)
The Toyota Innova Hycross GX(O) version is another Toyota on the list. The non-hybrid version will have access to this new GX(O) variation. The fuel Hycross was previously offered in the G-SLF and GX versions. The GX(O) will now be marketed as the Innova Hycross’s top-tier version for petrol vehicles.
Although the pricing of this new trim has not yet been disclosed, the company has put the new GX(O) on their website. We anticipate that it will go on sale in April 2024. The new model, which will be priced starting at Rs 21 lakh (ex-showroom), will be positioned above the GX grade. Its features include a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, dual-tone interior, automatic climate control, rear automatic blower control, dual-tone seats, soft touch dashboard, LED front fog lamps, rear retractable sunshade (for the seventh and eighth seats only), 360-degree camera, and front parking sensors. It will be available with either seven or eight seats.
The Tata Altroz Racer
Tata Altroz Racer is the next item on the list. The hatch made its debut at the 2020 Delhi Auto Expo before making an appearance at the Bharat Mobility Expo this year. There are anticipated to be two primary versions of the Altroz Racer, with prices starting at Rs 9 lakh (ex-showroom).
There are certain visual improvements for the Altroz Racer compared to the standard hatchback. It will have unique 16-inch alloy wheels and aggressive bumpers with skirting. It will include a spoiler and a redesigned tailboard with a bumper on the back. The Altroz Racer will have a sporty interior with contrasting stitching on the seats and steering wheel, a black dashboard arrangement, and coloured highlights. In addition, it has ambien lighting that matches the colour of the outside and coloured inserts.
It will have a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, connected car technology, voice-activated sunroof, automatic climate control, a fully digital instrument cluster, wireless charging, cruise control, parking sensors, and ventilated seats in addition to other features. Six airbags, TPMS, ISOFIX mounts, electronic stability control (ESC), hill assist control, and three-point seatbelts with seatbelt reminders for every passenger are among the safety features of the Altroz. It should be mentioned that in Global NCAP crash tests, the Tata Altroz ordinary models received a 5-star safety rating.
A 1.2-liter, 3-cyl, turbocharged petrol engine producing 120 horsepower and 170 Nm of torque will power the Altroz Racer. A six-speed manual or a dual-clutch automatic (DCA) gearbox are possible transmission options.
Skoda Superb
The Skoda Superb is next in line, with a launch date of the first week of April. The firm is anticipated to introduce the previous generation Superb, which was sold in India but with a few cosmetic changes and extra features, together with the new Superb, which will be imported into the country through the CBU channel. Given that the sedan would be imported into India through the CBU channel, its price is anticipated to exceed Rs 40 lakh (ex-showroom).
The same 2.0-liter, four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine that generates 190 horsepower and 320 Nm of torque will power the Superb. This engine is used in a lot of VW and Audi vehicles. It is equipped with a 7-speed DSG transmission that exclusively drives the front wheels.
