The next psychological horror thriller from Universal Pictures will now officially be called Him, according to Reporte. The movie is slated to open in theaters on September 19, 2025, of the following year. After over five years since starring in the Netflix comedy Sextuplets, which he also co-wrote and produced, this is Wayans’ first solo main role in a very long time. His most recent acting credit was as George Raveling, the former coach of Michael Jordan, in the sports drama film Air from last year.

Before Jordan Peele arrived at Netflix, Monkey Man Nearly Died. Producer Jordan Peele discusses in Monkey Man why Dev Patel’s first feature film directing effort wasn’t intended for streaming.

This upcoming film, which is being produced by Jordan Peele, will be Wayans’s debut role in a major horror film. Despite his familiarity with the genre, the humorous actor has only acted in horror comedies like the Scary Movie series. He co-wrote the first two chapters with his brother Shawn Wayans, and one of the highlights of those films was his iconic and hilarious performance as Shorty Meeks. In the 2022 horror comedy The Curse of Bridge Hollow on Netflix, Marlon Wayans also acted as a realist father who despises Halloween.

Justin Tipping, who has directed episodes for popular shows like The Chi, Black Monday, Dear White People, and Joe vs. Carole, is in charge of him. The forthcoming horror movie will be Tipping’s second full-length feature film, after the Mahershala Ali-starring indie adventure Kicks from 2016.

In the film Him, penned by Zack Akers and Skip Bronkie, the authors of Limetown, Wayans plays a legendary quarterback entrusted with mentoring a budding young athlete at his remote estate. Rappers Guapdad 4000 and Tierra Whack, along with actors Julia Fox, Tyriq Withers, Tim Heidecker, and Jim Jefferies, appear alongside Wayans in the film.

What Happens to Jordan Peele Next?

Most recently, Peele produced Dev Patel’s critically acclaimed feature directorial debut, Monkey Man. After being pleased by the British actor’s commitment to the role and his vision for the picture, the Oscar-winning director stated in an earlier interview that he would be interested in producing an action film with Patel in the lead role. “In this regard, my action movie probably wouldn’t be as ambitious.

Peele stated, “It would be a different incorporation.” “But what I connected to about this film is that Dev didn’t stop himself from indulging in all the gifts that these genres can give us. I’m inspired by him, and I think I’m definitely going to be calling him to help me do some action. I mean, what I need to do is just cast him. And then I’ve got an amazing action director in my lead role!”

In regards to Peele’s much awaited fourth directing endeavor, fans anxiously awaiting his next masterpiece after Get Out, Us, and Nope were left in suspense about the film’s narrative and characters. As far as Peele is concerned, his fourth film may be his best to date. “I do feel like my next project is clear to me, and I’m psyched that I have another film that, you know, could be my favorite movie if I make it right,” he stated.

While Nope is already available for streaming on Peacock, Him has its theatrical debut on September 19, 2025.

In order to enable users to do tasks without ever leaving their inboxes, Gmail is getting some brand-new enterprise tools.

Today, Google said that new Gmail add-ons for a variety of business productivity tools, such as Trello, Asana, DocuSign, Intuit Quickbooks, and Wrike, will be available. You won’t need to leave your inbox to complete any work because the apps are integrated within Gmail natively.

The primary target audience for these add-ons is corporate users who want to assign work to freelancers or other members of their organization; nevertheless, regular users may also find value in the new extensions. The add-ons maintain users inside the Google ecosystem rather than making them switch between apps, offering features that are already present in other G Suite tools like Slides, Forms, Documents, and Sheets.

According to Google, after you’ve added the additional capabilities to your account, they operate automatically in Gmail. Simply click the setting wheel in the upper right corner of the inbox and select “Get add-ons.”

Add-ons aren’t totally new; the feature was first presented in a developer preview earlier this year.

Additionally, developers can write their own Gmail add-on apps, which Google claims only need to be created once to function natively on the web and Android versions of Gmail at this time. Although a representative for Google stated that the G Suite team is collaborating with Apple to bring about iOS capability, Google did not specify when it would be included.

A recent study found that endurance training involves more than merely working out vigorously in the gym

In a similar vein, the study discovered that endurance training affected a number of biological processes linked to oxidative stress, inflammation, and metabolism.

These pathways are important for preserving general health and are frequently linked to chronic illnesses like cancer, diabetes, and cardiovascular disease.

Comprehending the molecular impacts of physical activity on the human body can facilitate novel study directions and possibly result in the creation of focused therapies for diverse medical ailments.

Researchers may be able to create medications or treatments that replicate the positive effects of exercise for those with health conditions that prevent them from engaging in physical activity by pinpointing particular biochemical pathways that are triggered by endurance training.

This study also emphasizes the significance of consistent endurance training for general health and wellness. Exercise’s molecular modifications benefit tissues that are not immediately engaged in movement, demonstrating the body’s holistic response to it.

The study demonstrates the deep effects of endurance exercise on the body, exposing a sophisticated web of molecular alterations that go well beyond the cardiovascular and muscular systems.

Researchers aim to enhance health outcomes for people globally and gain new insights into the advantages of exercise by deciphering these biological systems.

. It affects tissues that are not normally associated with movement by starting a chain reaction of molecular alterations throughout the body.

Investigating the complex molecular impacts of endurance training, scientists found an astounding 35,000 molecular alterations. This finding implies that exercise has a greater physiological impact on the body than previously thought.

Exercise has long been linked to cardiovascular health and the growth of muscles, but new study shows that its effects extend throughout the body, even to tissues that are not directly involved in physical activity.

Scientists from the National Institutes of Health investigated the molecular alterations brought about by endurance exercise in a variety of tissues, such as the brain, liver, and heart.

The effect of endurance exercise on gene expression in tissues like the colon and bone marrow that are not usually linked to exercise was one of the most fascinating discoveries.

These molecular changes appear to have long-lasting impacts rather than being transient reactions to the physical stress of exercise, which raises the possibility that regular endurance exercise may cause long-term changes in the way the body functions.

The AI drive by Apple (AAPL) has started. The business debuted its newest iPad Pros with an all-new M4 CPU on Tuesday. The Pro gains several advantages from the processor, such as an upgraded graphics processing unit and a speedier CPU.

However, what was most notable was Apple’s emphasis on the AI capabilities of the M4. Since 2017, Apple has been integrating its neural engine into CPUs, and it has long since touted the ways in which it powers various functionalities of the iPhone, iPad, and Mac.

However, the M4 introduction was unique in that it acted as a taster for the artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities the company will present at its WWDC event in June. At this event, Apple is anticipated to introduce a wide range of software features powered by generative AI for its numerous products.

AI and M4

During the keynote, Tim Millet, vice president of platform architecture at Apple, especially mentioned the M4’s AI credentials. The chip can execute 34 trillion operations per second, which is a standard metric of AI capability.

Additionally, according to Millet, the M4’s neural engine is more potent than any AI PC’s neural processing unit. That’s a clear jab at Qualcomm (QCOM), AMD (AMD), and Intel (INTC), which are launching or about to launch their own AI PC chips made to run complex language models on Windows laptops and desktops.

Apple made no mention of AI software improvements other than the basics of AI processing on the M4. Although Millet claimed that the M4 enables the iPad Pro to rapidly separate a subject from its background in a 4K video, the iPad Air with an M2 chip is still capable of doing the same task, albeit a little more slowly. The company’s only claim was that the M4 will speed up and improve the functionality of AI apps and features.

Additionally, the M4’s performance when training or running large language models (LLMs) was not disclosed by the business, despite the fact that Intel, Qualcomm, and AMD frequently use this as evidence of the advantages of their chips.

Nevertheless, it’s significant that Apple provided Wall Street and customers with an early peek into their AI thinking.

Many believe that Apple is lagging behind in the battle for generative AI, thus investors are placing a lot of money on WWDC to be Apple’s major AI launch event.

Over the past few months, CEO Tim Cook has been bringing up artificial intelligence (AI) more and more. He stated on the most recent earnings call that the iPhone manufacturer is making significant investments in the technology.

This entails acquiring smaller AI companies and, as reported by Mark Gurman of Bloomberg, negotiating with OpenAI and Google about leveraging their sizable language models to power Apple’s AI offerings.

Analysts predict that Apple’s generative AI products will act as a catalyst to increase iPhone sales at a time when users are keeping their phones longer on average and striking new features that set one generation apart from the next are hard to come by.

The BMW Brilliance Automotive joint venture, which was established in 2003, is celebrating the achievement of a significant manufacturing milestone. The sixth millionth vehicle to be built in China is this 5-Series Sedan with a large wheelbase.

This all-electric i5 is done in the Individual catalog’s matte hue, Frozen Pure Grey. The EV was put together in Dadong, one of the three Chinese factories where BBA also assembles cars at its Tiexi and Lydia facilities.

Based on sales data, China is the largest market for BMW, with 824,832 vehicles sold there in the previous year. Following the February 2023 achievement of the five million car milestone, the company needed just over a year to produce one million automobiles. BMW exclusively produces the iX3 crossover, i3 sedan, and many long-wheelbase vehicles in China. The X1 and X5 SUVs, as well as the 3 Series and 5 Series sedans, all have longer wheelbases.

Early in 2022, BMW raised its 50% ownership stake in the joint venture with Brilliance to 75%. In order to get the Chinese locations ready for the Neue Klasse platform assembly of next-generation EVs, work has already begun. The three BBA plants will begin producing NK-based models in 2026 and already have the necessary equipment to make zero-emission vehicles.

Shenyang will host one of the five battery plants that BMW plans to construct worldwide. This is where the round-cell sixth-generation batteries will be put together. It is planned for pre-production to start by the end of 2024. Because of their 800-volt architecture, the new cells will offer a 30% improvement in charging speed and have a 20% higher energy density. Furthermore, NK-based EVs will have a 30% greater range.

Already, the recently established BMW Designworks Shanghai Studio is developing EVs especially for Chinese consumers’ preferences. The models that will be designed and manufactured in the region are not yet being disclosed by the corporation. BMW has several R&D facilities in China, with locations in Beijing, Shanghai, Shenyang, and Nanjing.

SpaceX’s Falcon family of rockets surpassed the overall number of Space Shuttle missions from NASA’s Kennedy Space Center’s iconic Launch Complex 39A with a launch on Wednesday afternoon. The total number of shuttle flights observed at the pad was surpassed by the launch of Falcon 9 and Falcon Heavy rockets.

With the Starlink 6-56 mission, which took off on a Falcon 9 rocket at 2:42 p.m. EDT (1842 UTC), they achieved the milestone, making 83 orbital flights from SpaceX’s KSC pad. Over the program’s 30-year lifetime, there have been one more shuttle launches than that.

Nine Falcon Heavy launches and seventy-four Falcon 9 launches make up the SpaceX flights.

A third launch was made by the first stage rocket supporting this flight, SpaceX tail number B1083. It has already launched the Starlink 6-48 mission and the Crew-8 mission to the International Space Station.

After taking off, the booster landed on the SpaceX droneship “A Shortfall of Gravitas” a little over eight minutes later. This was SpaceX’s 305th first-stage landing and ASOG’s 68th booster landing overall.

The commander of the upcoming Polaris Dawn mission, Jared Isaacman, responded to talks of the mission on X, the former name of Twitter, a few times after the booster landing. The remarks stoked rumors that B1083 may serve as the rocket for Isaacman and his three crew members’ Crew Dragon Resilience spacecraft launch.

Vice president of the Dragon program Stu Keech mentioned that Crew Dragon Resilience was already in the Sunshine State, getting ready for the launch, at a Spaces event on X to discuss the Polaris Dawn mission. The first-ever civilian spacewalk will be conducted as the mission’s centerpiece.

“It’s going through its prelaunch processing phase and the hardware is moving forward and on track for that early summer launch,” Keech stated.

Expanding Constellation

The mission on Wednesday afternoon added twenty-three more Starlink satellites to the expanding constellation. Before this launch, throughout the course of 31 missions in 2024, SpaceX has sent 702 Starlink satellites into low Earth orbit.

As of May 6, out of the 6,350 Starlink satellites that have been launched to far, 5,935 were in orbit, according to astronomer and specialist orbital tracker Jonathan McDowell.

With the Starlink 8-2 mission, SpaceX attempted to bring an additional 20 satellites into low-Earth orbit (LEO). The mission was launched from Vandenberg Space Force Base in California, approximately thirty minutes after the Starlink 6-56 mission. The 13 Starlink satellites on that mission—which is scheduled to launch at 7:48 p.m. PDT (10:48 p.m. EDT, 0248 UTC)—have the Direct to Cell capability.

At the Internazionali BNL d’Italia, Novak Djokovic will look to get off to a strong start as he pursues his first championship of the year. The top seed feels relaxed and prepared for action in Rome because she hasn’t competed since making it to the semi-finals in Monte-Carlo last month.

“I had plenty of time to rest and train. Had a good training block,” Djokovic remarked on Wednesday at his pre-tournament press conference. “I arrived here two days ago to get a hit on the centre court, as well, obviously stay four or five days training before my first match with top players.”

Obviously, training with them makes a difference. You get to assess where you stand in terms of form and play practice sets to see where you are at before the first game. I hope to improve on my performance in Monte-Carlo by playing here in Rome. Of course, everyone wants to succeed and reach great heights.

A strong run will solidify Djokovic’s ranking at the top of the PIF ATP Rankings. His nearest rivals, Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz, are both out for the ATP Masters 1000 event owing to injury. Djokovic is hoping to win his 1100th tour-level match in the Italian capital.

The 36-year-old’s best result in 2024 was reaching the Australian Open semifinals. He now has an 11-4 record. Djokovic hasn’t won a championship this season for just the second time in the last six years as he travels to Rome.

The Nenad Zimonjic-coached Serbian has been putting in a lot of work off the court in an effort to turn around his performance at the clay-court competition.

“I am working currently with a fitness coach that I worked with for many years. It didn’t take much time to adapt to his programme and approach,”  said Djokovic, “We know each other really well. That’s why I feel like we’re synchronised from the very beginning in terms of what we want to do, how we want to approach the programme of training on and off the court. With Nenad [Zimonjic] of course, as well.

“I’m pleased with the way the past 10 days, 14 days went in terms of training, in terms of preparation and looking ahead to this tournament.”

Six-time Rome winner Djokovic will begin his campaign on Friday against either Roman Safiullin or Corentin Moutet, a lucky loser from France. In their Lexus ATP Head2Head series, the seven-time Nitto ATP Finals champion Djokovic leads Safiullin 2-0 and has the upper hand over Moutet, 1-0.
