Today, Apple released tvOS 16.3.3, a bug fix update for the September-released tvOS 16 operating system. tvOS 16.3.3 is available for the Apple TV 4K and Apple TV HD almost a month after tvOS 16.3.2.
The tvOS 16.3.3 update can be downloaded over the air by going to System > Software Update in the Apple TV’s Settings app. The upgrade to tvOS 16.3.3 will occur automatically for Apple TV owners who have enabled automatic software updates. Keep in mind that this update is only for the Apple TV 4K of the third generation.
tvOS updates typically have a smaller scope and focus on internal bug fixes and enhancements rather than significant outward-facing changes. This update, according to Apple’s release notes, this update fixes an issue a problem that could prevent the Siri Remote from working with the third-generation Apple TV 4K.
