The 36-year-old Iranian elite who has been able to perform more than 800 successful neurosurgeries alone in 10 years that is no one but Dr. Soheila Saami Aldoboni. Dr. Saami was born in 1984 in Tehran. A person who has been interested in learning since he was a child. Her father, who is one of the neurologists, and has been a companion and helper throughout her life. Dr. Saami, who has a kind and compassionate heart, wished as a child to be able to treat all patients. After completing high school and obtaining a diploma, Dr. Saami went to Gulf Medical University in U.A.E and continued her education. She was selected in the first admission by Professor Madjid Samii. And now, as the best and most successful student of Professor Samii, she is present in difficult and complex operations. Dr. Soheila Saami continued: “I have never been afraid to perform any operation and 1 hour before each operation, I review all the cases related to that operation which is what I think every doctor should do before the operation in order to have enough control to perform the surgery.”
I have a special value for human lives and I thank God a thousand times that I was able to cope with this work and this great responsibility.
As a kid, I used to watch my dad stand for hours to perform an operation, so I started exercising as a kid, and my regular walk gradually led to harder workouts, and now we stand for more than 12 hours in a sterile state to perform a complex operation.
I am thankful to God that I have performed more than 800 difficult surgeries alone, and have participated in more than 3,500 surgeries as an assistant or surgeon. When I went to Germany to continue my studies, I wished to succeed in this field so that I could serve in my own country and for the lives of my compatriots.
I will never forget the kindness of my parents because they have been and are my biggest supporters during my life, and I am also grateful to my great teacher, Professor Samii, for teaching me his experience and information during this time.
And I hope that the day will come when medical science will be able to cure all the patients in the world. And no compatriot or human being will suffer from the disease.
