In the US, the 2025 Honda Civic Facelift will come in four trim levels, with pricing to be revealed soon.
After being released in 1972, the Honda Civic soon became well-liked because to its reliable performance, small size, and ability to fit the needs of a wide spectrum of customers. It changed throughout the course of several generations and gained a reputation for being adaptable, coming in a variety of body types, such as sedan, coupe, hatchback, and even waggon.
The Civic established itself as a sensible and affordable option for purchasers in the 1980s and 1990s. The eleventh generation Honda Civic has been updated in the US and is now confirmed to be offered in four different configurations. Customers can purchase the updated Civic in sedan and hatchback body styles. Additionally, there will be hybridised models available for purchase, including the Sport Hybrid and Sport Touring Hybrid, which together have an EPA-rated fuel economy of around 21.3 km/l.
It is the most powerful non-Type R trim ever, according to the Japanese auto major, thanks to the two electric motors that combine with a 2.0L inline four-cylinder Atkinson cycle petrol engine to provide a maximum power of 200 horsepower and 315 Nm. Honda is heavily reliant on its hybrid choices, which make up 40% of Civic sales in the United States.
There are four stages of regenerative braking in the hybrid system. Wheel resonators are included with the Sport Touring model to lower noise-level automobiles (NVH), and all hybrid models come equipped with an active noise control system. The 1.5L VTEC turbocharged petrol engine that produced 200 horsepower and 260 Nm of torque was the powerplant of the previous Civic Si, however it has since been discontinued.
Along with the Sport versions, the LX variation will only be offered as a sedan. It will come with a standard 2.0L engine that produces 157 horsepower and 187 Nm.
