CNN Barbie fans, pack your bags because the destination for your summer vacation is clear: The DreamHouse in Malibu.
This summer, the pink pad will be available for rent in California; however, Barbie’s lover Ken has altered the house.
According to an AirBnb listing that is said to have been written by Ken, the “life-size toy pink mansion” is above the beach and has “panoramic views.”
“Hello, my Kendom! The listing states, “She has handed over the keys to her Malibu DreamHouse this summer while Barbie is away, and my room could be yours for the night.”
“I’ve added a couple contacts to bring some genuinely necessary Kenergy to the recently remodeled and notable Malibu DreamHouse,” it adds
The house is fitted out with cattle rustler gear, an open air disco dance floor, a vastness pool and a closet brimming with garments.
Visitors can book from 10 a.m. PT (1 p.m ET) on July 17, with two one-night stays for up to two visitors accessible on July 21 and July 22.
The listing adds that those chosen will also be able to take home yellow and pink Impala surfboards and skates in the Ken style.
The DreamHouse is part of Warner Bros.’s marketing campaign for the upcoming “Barbie” movie, which comes out on July 21. Like CNN, Warner Bros. is part of Warner Bros. Discovery.
The listing states that Airbnb will make a one-time donation to Save the Children “in honor of girls’ empowerment and in celebration of BARBIE hitting theaters on July 21.”
Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling play Barbie and Ken, respectively, in the Greta Gerwig-directed film. They leave Barbie Land to explore the “real world.”
According to the film’s production designer, the amount of pink paint needed to create the ideal backdrop caused a global shortage.
“The world ran out of pink,” said Sarah Greenwood in a new meeting with Design Summary.
