A brand-new series called Pokémon Concierge will be produced in collaboration between Netflix and The Pokémon Company. The new show, which will premiere in 2023, will explore a different aspect of the Pokémon universe and move away from all of the fighting and catching. Pokémon Concierge comes from Dwarf Studios, the same studio that made the stop-motion anime Rilakkuma and Kaoru for Netflix. As a result, this new show should have the same soft cuteness.
Haru, a concierge at the Pokémon resort, is the focus of Pokémon Concierge. As the name suggests, this is a Pokémon-themed resort. Haru will assist numerous Pokémon guests during their stay at the resort. A tiny Psyduck is shown gliding across a beach in the brief teaser. It will be a lighthearted and absolutely adorable slice of life if this show is anything like Rilakkuma and Kaoru.
Minyoung Kim, Netflix’s vice president of content, Asia Pacific (excluding India), stated, “We have a group of experts here in Japan who are passionate about finding and developing original stories here in Japan that will excite audiences all over the world. And we are dedicated to adapting fan-favorite stories and manga into extraordinary shows.”
The release date for Pokémon Concierge is currently unknown, but Kim promised that fans would see the show this year. The Pokémon Presents presentation did not reveal any new information regarding additional Pokemon shows; however, a brand-new live-action Pokémon series was in development at the streamer as of the previous year.
