A four-day kabaddi competition will be organised by the Punjab Sports Department over the state from July 16 to 19.
This competition is being held to commemorate the 550th year of Guru Nanak Dev Parkash Purv.
In a press release issued by the local office of the State Sports Department here today, it was informed that following to the guidelines from the Punjab Government, the kabaddi competition (national style) will be conducted at the sub-divisions of Ludhiana district in which rivalry for young men and young ladies U-14, 18 and 25 years would be held.
The discharge issued by Ravinder Singh, District Sports Officer, Ludhiana, said the matches in the Ludhiana sub-division (West) would be sorted out at Thareeke town, while those in the sub-division (East) would be played at Khasi Kalan and Raikot on July 16 and 17.
